Just another story

i know. there is this long overdue camp updates that i am suppose to post up. but was simply to lazy to come to blogspot to type lei. haha. now that i am finally here.. haha. shall "fulfil" what i say in the previous entry with regards to updates on my NIE camp.

firstly, i really thank God for putting me in Agents 2. seriously. cause that group is super crazy and i find myself fitting into place perfectly well! haha. beside having wondeful OG mates, i have(had) 3 wonderful OGLs.. i will be doing myself a great disservice if i dun list down why i think they are good.

mun wai: a cool guy. very caring. bought 100 plus for us in the first day after our games. later the night, cause he told us that there will be supper provided when there wasn't, and upon hearing that there was no supper, he went out to get food for us when one of us simply go:"huh ah. no supper ah. i am a little hungry lei.." he went out without telling anyone of us except the other OGL. but another member of the group and i suspected that he went out to buy supper for us though. haha. he came back with 2 big bottle of soft drinks for the OG members and 2 small bottles of soft drinks for the other 2 OGL. and 1 packet of mee goreng, 1 fried rice and 1 fried kway tiao!! men. were we not touched when we knew about it. then the next day we had amazing race around the west and central part of singapore. he wasn't with us as he was one of the station master. nevertheless.. he called up the other OGL to ask about our situation. and guess wat?? when we reach back campus, we found out that he bought us pi pa gao( the black black colour thingy..) as he believe that after a whole day of cheering, we will need that to nourish our throat.(and now.. everyone go awww.. so caring! :P). other than that, he also bought us drinks and got for us watever we needed for that night's performance. all the things he paid out of his own pockets. and i dare say, no one is agents 2 wasn't touch! all these are not the only reasons why i find him a wonderful OGL to have. another thing is that he is really encouraging. even though ultimately we didn't win anything.. he still encourage us by saying things like "it is not the end product that counts but the process", "agents 2.. all of you are very wonderful. and i am proud to be your OGL", "this is one of the best OG tat i ever had".. ok. i know it sounds kinda cliche.. but hey. it really make us feel better. haha. and he is always the guy with the camera taking snapshots of us in process.. haha. k la. enough of him.

dorling: a blur-like-sotong girl. men. can you imagine this? she actually forgot to bring our group flag. with all honesty, when she told the group that she had forgotten to bring our flag and our identities.. i was like thinking to my self "oh my god. under this kind of blur sotong.. think this group will not go far. die le la. why am i in such a lousy group" but ya.. i was proven wrong. haha. she is blur but kind. very soft spoken, often got bullied by me. cause i always suan her. haha. can see that she really did try her best to get the whole group together like in the first part during our intro.. as and when there is a new member joining the group(those late comers), she told us to re intro ourself again. haha. altogether, i think we intro ourself 3 times?? haha. during the amazing race, she was suffering from a back ache. but yet.. she still join us in all that we do. we chiong, she chiong. we cheered she cheered. we walk in the rain, she also walked in the rain. most importantly is that she is always the mother figure of the group. always stopping to "count her sheeps". haha. why i use sheeps here? cause, very coincidentally, she is from hope, my previous church. haha. and in that church, sheeps and shepherds are such common terms. feel more apt in calling ourselves her "sheeps" than her "chickens" when i am describing her. haha. will always remember when at our first station, we had to run from the canteen to the bridge, she join us even though it hurts like hell when she run. her spirit is wat taht really make me admire her. but sad la. actually had the opportuity to be fellow block mates in hall.. staying at the same level somemore.. but she gave up her chance to stay in hall. haiz. feel so sad about it. haiz. she is also the one that taught our group to be thick skin to go "beg" for pebbles( the "points") by coming up with songs like "give me one, give me one, give me one more" and make us go say hi to all the games ic and the various station masters and camp com peeps when we see them on the road. so much so that till now, when the camp is over, whenever we see any camp com people along NIE, my gang and i (which consists of mainly agents 2 people) are still doing so. haha. even she say we "zong du hen shen" haha. "thick skiness" is my group's best identity. without dorling, think our group will be very much different as well. oh ya. i think i should mention our flag. it braved through the "storms" with us. haha. and the piece of paper was so torn and tattered at the end of the day. haha. after "fighting" with the rain and our sweat. haha. dOrling is such a dArling to have in the group.

pearle: very quiet. most of the time not with the group for the first day. cause she was one of the station masters for one of the games which means the whole afternoon of the first day is gone. at night, during fright night, she was also one of the "ghost" and so.. she was also not with our group as we "brave" through the scares with loads of screams and stupid comments. haha. and so.. first day, dun really know her well. but second day during the amazing race.. get to know her slightly better. know that she is an ESPIRIT freak. everything on her is Espirit. haha. from jackets to shirt and shorts. wondering if her undergarments are as well. haha. according to dorling who is her good friend, she only wear espirit clothes. haha. but during the amazing race, she was as enthu as the group. she ran with us from esplanade's roof top terrace to the merlion park. haha. men. it was hell la. running that SEEMINGLY short distance. soft spoken girl. she is that kind of leader who is not rara but you know that she is there to support you whenever you need her. her way of answering questions really amuses me. the way she say "how would i know" and "i don't know" in her special accent is super funny. so much so that most of our group members remember her by that. and without fail, we will suan her with that whenever we meet her along NIE. once again, wonderful person to have in the group. remind me of someone. someone who i shall not mention here. always doing alot of things for the group but not claiming credit for her job well done. quiet yet noisy when necessary. these people are the "silent killer", except in a good way. dry sense of humour! i really dun know how to put it in a better way.. but ya. she is there doing her things without you noticing her cause she is really soooooooo quiet. speaking up only at the most necessary time. once again, a pity that i dun get to know her better. she is really a great person to have. both as a leader and as a friend.

on the last night, had a wonderful supper out with the entire group. sat at the kopitiam from 2 plus till about 6 plus when there is the first bus service of 179. haha. just taling and playing zhong ji mi ma and the forfiet being true and true. haha. got to know each other's love life better.. reach nie at about 6.45 and suppose to be up by 7.30 and breakfast is at 8.30. so we have got no time to go sleep. decided to go bathe and sit at the canteen to wait for breakfast. by not sleeping the whole night, all of us were so tired that after we bathe and while waiting for our breakfast in the canteen, we all lay our heads down on the table and all fell asleep. funny scene i suppose. haha. 12 people with heads down on table sleeping! haha.

the main reason why i would think that Agents 2 was a wonderful group is due to the fact that the whole group did everyting together. we go bathe as a group in the wee hours of the night and even when we finish bathing , we will wait for each other to finish bathing in the toilet before walking back to our bunk together. sleep and eat together. laugh at each other silly jokes or mistakes together.. haha. frankly, it is amazing how some of us manage to bond that well even when the camp is kinda short? only 3 days 2 nights. to think that all of us were not willing to go for the camp in the first place but went cause it was COMPLUSORY. haha. but now i dare to say that no one regretted going for this camp!

on another note, the camp itself was only average. in fact, some programs were too draggy and boring. esp the ice breaker games and the time spent waiting for the fright night!(hey. agents 2 waited from 7 till about 12 plus before we were led down to wait outside the nanyang playhouse ok?!) the camp was fun casue of the company we got. right serena?? hee. shall post up photos taken by mun wai soon. check it out!

k la. this is really a long entry about the NIE camp. this shall be the final entry i am going to talk about the NIE camp. i shall move on with life and not continue to think about the "good old days". next 2 entry i suppose will be about moving into hall and my initial 3 days living there. stay tune guys! ; )

-having an OG gathering this coming thursday at seoul garden. hope the friendship form will not end together with the camp.see you guys soon, my dear friends-
