Just another story

now that the english test is over, it is really over. all my hopes and aspiration for this test are gone. my god. if the mistakes that i made were because i dun know the concept, i will shut up adn jolly well accept the fact that yes, i am not clear of this concept. but when the mistakes i made are stupid mistake simply because i think too much.. then i think i really ought to die. i mean.. for example for today test.. when the ask me for the word class of 2 "to"s i know both cannot be prepositions. and one if them must be a to-infinitive. i told myself that i must change it. but you know wat? stupid me forgot to change it after i finish the other sections. damn it. this i should change and yet i didn't change. but another one i shouldn't change, i go and change. they give me school bus in a long text la and ask me wat is the word class for school. i know full well it is a noun and so i wrote noun down the very first time i see it. but just before i hand up the paper, i thought.. it is refering to the "bus" which is a noun, so this should be an adjective. and i change it. my god. can someone just take a gun and shoot me? another thing. i know full well that inflectional suffixes do not change the word class of a word. i also know there are only 8 inflectional suffixes in english and -ing is one of them. and so.. when i see -ing in the word worrying i say the -ing is a inflectional suffix as it is one of the 8 in english given to me in a table to memorise. after the test, xue mei say.. but worry is a noun and worrying is not a noun. hence word class changes. so how can the -ing in this case still be an inflectional suffix?! i was dumbfounded. on one hand, i tried to tell myself that -ing is one of the 8. so it should be inflectional suffix. but on the other hand, i am thinking about wat xue mei is saying. the word class did change! so can it still be an inflectional suffix? haiz. men. that was another blow. sometimes that is just the way i am. i know the individual concepts but i just failed to link it altogether. when will i learn? i really dun know. perhaps till i die, i will never ever overcome this weakness of mine. and to think i wanted to do well for this test to secure a high 20% for my AAE 101 module. my god. i might as well forget it and die. i think i will be better off died. basically, that was the major mistakes that i found in my test. i hope all the other sections will pull me up. now another consolations. these are just 3 points out of a possible 80 points. but hey. 3 points DO make a difference! haiz. am hoping that the other sections i will really score to compensate for this 3 marks. seriously speaking, i think i am quite confident for all the other questions and so i hope i will get a decent overall grade for this test. one where i would be proud of myself. haiz. wat a let down....

- watch movies with darling FOC!!
- new clothes and shoes!
- a new leather watch!!
- lasik operation! to get rid of having to wear specs/contacts!
- a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
- a pair of birks?
