Just another story

sis: eh, whose jeans is this?
me: mine la. why?
sis: u sure not? so small.
me: really la. i bought them last 2 weeks when we went toa payoh shopping with ma.
sis: wa lao. u got so skinny meh? [she puts on my jeans and it fits her perfectly] u wear also gang gang hao or is a little tight?! is a little tight right??
me: no la. u never see me wear before meh? is gang gang hao lor. haha. da jie cant fit into this!
sis: [looking at me with disbelief in her eyes] wa lao. can u stop jian fei-ing not? no one in this house been skinnier than me, u dun be the first hor. or i will kill u [said in a jokingly manner]
me: u siao ah. i will never reach ur size de lor. if only i can. [thinking to myself: it is a dream that is to far fetched. IMPOSSIBLE can?!]
sis: [running to my mother's room with my jeans still on her] ma!! ni kan san jie de jeans, wa lao. ta zhen de shou le hen duo lei. ni kan. wo chuan dou gang gang hao lei!! ma, ni jiao san jie bu yao zai jian fei le la. ta bu ke yi bi wo shou de lei!!
mum: bu jiu hao lor. ni men ke yi gong si chuan le lor. ai ya, ta yao shou bu jiu ge ta shou lor. ni shen jing bing ah?
sis: [back to our room] eh, i tell u ah, u better stop ah. u continue to lose weight i kill u ah! hahaha. [once again, said in a joking manner]
me: -_-''

and that was with my younger sis. now, with my eldest sis.
sis: yeah, i going east coast to jog later!!
me: eh, i wan go also lei. never jio me.
sis: dun wan. later u go exercise somemore then u become skinnier than me
me: wa lao. ni bu yao zhe yang hao ma? da jia yi qi jian fei yi qi shou la!!
sis: bu ke yi. ni bu ke yi bi wo shou!
me: wateva la. i must always be the fattest and heaviest in the family right?! [joking only la. not really angry]
sis: yes. hahahaha. ying wei ni bu ke yi bi wo shou! [laughs evil-ly]

not just with my sisters. even my mother's friend who came over to our house yesterday for ma jong session has alot to comment about me losing weight. like hello?! haha. cant i lose weight?! look at this:
auntie helen: ai yo. you trying to lose weight ah? u slim down alot le lei.
me: [paisei] ya. i am on a diet. trying to lose some weight.
auntie ah har: ai yo. bu yong jian fei de la. ni fei cai hao kan! [which btw, she is not the first person to say that to me!] bu yao shou, shou le bu hao kan de. lao ren de hua ni yao ting! bu ting lao ren yan, chi kuay zai yan qian!
me: har? bu ke yi la. ni kan wo de sisters ta men, all zhe me shou de. wo bu ke yi tai pang, bu ran hen dui lian. yi qian zhen de hen xiang king kong. bu mei! wo yao xiang wo de sisters ta men zhe yang. can yi chuan sleeveless de yi fu. wo bu ke yi. ying wei wo de shou pi hen da, hen chu.
auntie lisa: ai yo, u see auntie, u will not think of jian fei one! [cause she also a little on the plump side]. is it ur boy friend say u too fat?
me: -_-'' har? no la. he never really say la. but i know he minds. hahaha. [thinking to myself: u how old i how old. u married got kids le lei. of course nvm la. no need to care how u look le ma. i still so young. of course must jian fei and look good ma.]

that is not all. even my neighbours say so.
neighbour A: eh ah girl, ni zai jian fei ah. shou le hen duo hor?
me: er, dui. wo zai jian fei. xie xie ni. wo hai zai nu li. haha.

neighbour B: ai yo ah girl. ni you shou le hor?! but then hor stop here lei. if not will be out of proportion le! i thought u had a twin sis! u look like a different person!
me: haha. thanks for your compliment auntie. haha. i still on my way. a few more kilos off!! and i will stop.
neighbour B: har? still wan to lose somemore ah? but hor, how u lose so much weight de ah? teach auntie. auntie also wan to lose weight!!
me: [frankly, this neighbour of mine is really pretty lei. and her figure's good, considering she's a mother of 2] har? ai yo auntie, if i am like u ah, i will be very happy le. u no need to lose weight la. haha.
neighbour B: haha. ok la. listen to u la.
me: haha.

then today, at tampines food court met my aunt. after i went to see the sinsei for my hand.
aunt: wat happened to ur hand?
me: oh, i fell down and sprained it lor
aunt: must be la. must be because lost too much weight la. lack of calcium! that is why so easily sprained!
me: har? but fat people also will sometimes sprained their hands and legs de ma.
aunt: ya la. but.. ai ya, eh, how come u suddenly lost so much weight ah? jian fei ah?
me: [like duh. of course is jian fei la.] ya. i eat less per meal and do more sports lor.

weird conversations i have had right? with so many different people ABOUT THE SAME TOPIC at different time! haha. but nvm. i am enjoying it! haha. at least it beats the conversation XYZ years back when the topic between me and few other people that are related to me in VERY different manner WERE THE SAME AS WELL. then, everyone who saw me during watsoever occassion would ask me, as the FIRST question, eh, wat happen to u? u eat up all ur sisters share ah. why suddenly become so fat?! especially those during CNY in grandma's [of course is father's side la!] house de san gu liu po [nope, they are not my direct relatives. they are just some distant relatives whom i will only see once a year. and i dun even recall their names. i dun really care about them.] but they are the ones who are "overly" concern about me. without fail, every CNY, first thing they say when they see me is "aiyo, ni hen pang le, bu yao chi tai duo dong xi hor" like wat the hell la. wat i eat and how much i eat is none of ur business ass-holes! it is actually these people who motivates me to really be determine to lose weight. cause i wan to show them, i can do it if i want to. i do not need their constant reminder to remind me taht it is time for me to lose weight. indeed, i am looking forward to seeing them again next CNY. and see wat they have to say about me.

as sis correctly puts in as an answer to dad qn asking me why i suddenly become so shou [yes, even my dad bothers to compliment that i lost weight] "ta mei qi dou gei ren jiang ta pang ma. shou yi xian zai yao jian fei gei na xie ren kan lor!" how true!

i am just glad that i mange to lose some weight and i thank God for that. i now pray taht i can maintain as i continue to try to shed a few more kilos before i achieve my ideal weight!!

- that citadel and saboteur game that i am addicted to!!
- any 1 of the many many reflexes game i play in settlers! they are so fun!
- watch movies with darling FOC!!
- new clothes and shoes!
- a new leather watch!!
- lasik operation! to get rid of having to wear specs/contacts!
- a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
- a pair of birks?
