Just another story

wa!! today already the 5th day of a brand new year!! so fast sia! haha. anyway, happy new year to all!! may 2006 be a wonderful yr for everybody. hope everyone will be happy and stay in pink health!!

hmm.. been wanting to blog and do a quick lookback of my life in 2005 but i simply didnt have the time. tuition's taking up a large part of my time and it really doesnt help when my tuition kid is such a spoilt brat. seriously, i think my life span shortened by 5 yrs ever since i started tuition with him. if not for the fact tat he is my cousin and my mother's gan er zi, omg, please men. i WILL not be bothered with him. never ever seen someone like him before. tell me please. who goes to tuition without any books, papers, pens or pencils and expecting me to provide all for him? who goes to tuition with a brain that is SWITCHED OFF and a heart that is not keen to learn? one day men. just one day when i really bth,he will get it from me sia. nowadays already quite bad le. EVERY tuition he will get scolded until he cry! not that i am mean or wat, but because he is simply TOO LAZY. period. just that. he knows how to do those sums when i am beside him. but when i gave him assignment that is similar with only the names and figures changed, he tell me he doesnt know how to do and he leaves it blank. for the past few assignments i collected, the marks he scored has always been a flat ZERO. no wonder he loves to eat eggs. even if he really does complete his assignment, he gives me nothing but rubbish. all not completed. merely wrote a few digits that is COMPLETELY irrelated and irrelevant! no wonder he did so badly in his end of yr exam 2005! come on men. with this kind of attitude and behaviour, it will be a miracle, a damn miracle if he really do well for yr 2006. and i am waiting to see which stream he will end up in. i hope EM3. he deserves it anyway. grrrrrr he is really BEYOND HOPE. but that just means that i didnt do a good job as a tutor?! but heck. who cares. as long as i just get my money. haha. -evil grin- i mean, it takes 2 hands to clap ma right? cannot always i am prepared for lesson but he is not and still expect him to improve ma. ultimately, it is still him who will be taking the exam ma. so even if i had taught him all that he needs to know but he didnt absorb, it is not my business le right?! -sigh-

enough of him men. talking about him makes my blood boils. now, i shall spend sometime doing a quick review of my life in 2005!!

2005: a year where there was alot of changes in my life! also, at the same time, there were many "di yi ci' (the first time)!!

jan 5th to July 18th: my first time working in an office, experiencing life as a working "adult"!! i would say that it was a combination of many many different feelings!! happiness when boss not in office and we can slack. sad whenever a colleague that u had just gotten to know better, leaves the office. irritated when we meet demanding and unreasonable customers. betrayed when u hear someone whom u thought u were close friends with talk bad about u behind ur back. sigh, all i can say is, i finally understood wat it meant when teachers alwasy say that life as a student is the best. wait till u enter the complicated working world! officially declared the start of my weight loss plan!

cny 2005 (early feb): first time do i get more days off!! because office's closed for at least a week! so when students returned to schools, i was still slacking!! haha. took my basic on the 18th Feb. glad that i pass.

march 2005: this was when i collected my A level result!! rather disappointed with my grades i would say. really had expected much better grades. now that i look back and think, i thank God. at least thru my results, i learnt the impt lesson of life "whatever happens, it happens for a reason. and everything is within God's plan and control".

april 2005: kept myself busy with all the talks of the unis, pte or local. spent alot of time thinking of where to go for my uni education. at times, my pessimistic self took control of my thinking and i started to worry about my future. bad. that was so bad of me. first time gg on a holiday with whole family on non holiday period! cause whole family no one studying. so all can just apply for leave from company and vroom! off we go!! to bangkok! over there, also first time order room svc!! cause 50% off as my mother employee of the hotel branch in singapore! staying in the 5 star hotel was also free!! it was an anniversary voucher for my mother from her employer! haha. this yr my mother will also be getting it!! woo hoo!! shall try out the other swissotel in bangkok!! hee..

may 2005: my first "formal" interview!! with moe! was so excited when i was informed of the date for interview. prepared myself mentally for the interview! end of may: got the notification that i got thru the interview!! agreement signing date: 31st May 2005!

june 2005: nothing much. still working. only "highlight" during june would be the fact that it was the first time i went to sign an official document with my sureties! haha. my eldest sis and my 4th aunt! haha. so if i break bond.. hahahaha. they will need to pay a huge sum! haha. lost about 4 kg by this time!

july 18: last day of work. prepared myself for the start of school. July 25th: the long awaited day!! i finally returned to school!! but this time round, without uniforms, school shoes and big bags! haha. went to school in jeans/skirt and slippers! haha. and a bag with only papers and pencil case. first time spending most of my time away from home also! haha. stayed in hostel and first time, without the nagging of parents for me to bathe, sleep, eat and to pack bed. of course, also first time that i need to do my own laundry, and do everything myself. :(

aug: the first time my whole family went to watch NDP live!! for the first time my parents went with us to Padang to catch the NDP live!! haha. though it was hot and we all became lobster after that, it was still an enjoyable day out! haha. :)

sep-early oct: hmm.. first time feeling so stressed up with all the assignments due. i mean, it was my first sem at uni, still a little not use to it la. haha. and.. being the usual me, i pushed all my assigment till when it is nearing its due date for submission then i got started on it! haha. but still thank god. everything manage to turn out well, some even better than expected! no much disappointments except maybe AAE102!! a few nights without sleep though, just to get the assignments done! esp for AAH 101 and AAH 102!! haha. i never forget how i work thru the night just to get the assignment done! haha.

late oct- end nov: the most busy period for me in yr 2005! haha. been busy with hall stuff such as the exam supper etc and as well as the preparations for exam! haha. the preparation for exam was good. at lest i can feel that the time spent studying and revising the various modules were "fruitful" haha. also, my first time taking exam in an AIRCON hall. haha. FINALLY!! i nv had the opportunity to take my exam in an air con room! haha. lost about 2 kg more!

dec: most busy december i ever had so far! haha. inter hall games!! played netball and softball. then have to go for training for both games. not forgetting that i have to go for welfare duty! so.. haha. yeah. the most busy dec i ever had! haha. i actually felt more tired in dec then during school term! perhaps cause i play sports! haha. officially lost 15 kg!! haha. results for the first sem were also out! haha. not bad la the results! haha. am please with the overall b grade. shall work harder this sem to push it to B+ average! though it is gonna be hard i know..
