Just another story

d jourNIE ended yesterday. finally it is over. through this camp, i wouldnt say i learn alot, but seriously, the most importantly lesson that i learn in this camp is the lesson on the importance of friends and the importance of trust. wouldnt say i been through alot in this camp but i did experience enough to arrive at this conclusion.

all thru the night when u are alone and needed someone to talk to and everyone who is working with u are either asleep or those who are awake are those whom u arent close with, u will know that i truely learnt the importance of having friends in my life. friends whom u can engage in deep sharing as well as talk crap with. my friends were there for me. david jin quan xiang yun and huiting. i called them and though they werent in school, they all bothered to call me the moment they are back in school and came to talk to me immediatly. david even make me liang teh and gave me vit c! and when i walk around, i see their ogs, i feel that even when everything is wrong, there is 1 thing that i definately did right- i chose them to be the ogls. i am right in doing that. the treasures found thru this camp are my friendships with david, sharon, kimberly, quek, jin quan, xiangyun, peiyi, meihui, feng xia and last but not least, huiting. they are the ones who have been supporting and encouraging me all these while. from the first day of camp till the last day of camp. i am so glad i have them in my life!

the next treasure i found in this camp is my friendship with david. i never talk to him before until this camp. and to my surprise. i can actually share so much things with him.!! he is such a sincere person. i just am glad to have him as a friend. haha. trust is important as well.

of course, there are those ogls whom i dun really have the chance to talk to very much, but i know, they are always there to support me whenever i need help. these people are, satiish, mahathir and jean. wont forget how they bought me the cold cold drink in sentosa (though i gave them nuggets for it, but i believe that they did it out of their kind hearts. and seriously, i was really really really touched. =D just a simple cold drink, but to me, it was as good as giving me a 10 course dinner. imagine running under the hot sun and soon to be dehydrated and out comes a cold cold cold cold drink?! yes, u get wat i mean.)

next treasure i found in this camp is kimberly. she is my mummy. always there to help me and always there to cover my ass whenever i almost make a mistake. haha. i just love that women. she is so fun and is always so on the task.

i am glad that i have received alot of positive feedback from the freshies! i am so glad!! i love all ogs in chapera and gitanos! =D

of course, there are 2 sides to a coin, there was also the flip side of this camp. being pissed and unhappy with others were a common side among the opmc members. well, as the saying goes, the closer u walk to each other, the higher the chances of rubbing shoulder and having conflicts. but i am glad that we are able to react and behave appropriately. no doubt, swearing was a common sight, but at least we manage to put aside our differences and work together to pull this camp a success. i am proud of that. this camp is definately not perfect but seriously, it is a memorable camp. this is actually the first time i had to go round begging pple to volunteer as ogls/SMs!

- catch up with friends!esp my sec/jc mates!

- car license!!
- portable harddisk that is PORTABLE with as much memory as possible
- that citadel and saboteur game that i am addicted to!!
- any 1 of the many many reflexes game i play in settlers! they are so fun!
- watch movies with darling FOC!!
- new clothes and shoes!
- a new leather watch!!
- lasik operation! to get rid of having to wear specs/contacts!
- a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
- a pair of birks?
