Just another story

yoohoo!! school experience's over!!!! yesterday was my last day at montfort sec. dont know why, but felt a little sad. the school overall is better than expected. and though i didnt really teach any classes, but there is this particular class which i observed them for both English and History. strange but true, i do miss that class. there are a few boys in that class that makes me really want to be a teacher more. reason being, i know they can excel, all they need is a little push and alot of motivation. and this is why a good teacher comes in. how i wish i will be that teacher.

i was luckier as compared to some other trainees in the sense that i got to observe only lower sec classes and they are generally more well behaved. i mean, i do not have student threatening me with pen knife like San San and her sec 4 class, i do not have students telling me "cher, no wonder you dun have a girl(boy for me) friend la. look at your face and i know le." like Jayson and his sec 4 class. neither do i have students telling me that i am acting fierce or watsoever like what Tiangui experience with his sec 4 class. haha. so yeah, i was lucky. even cipei, the classes that she went too.. were quite rowdy. haha. =D

got to know a few new friends from my short stay there. haha. they are quite nice people i must say. all of us sitting in that little corner in the staff room are all unqualified teachers. haha. as in, all of us either have not graduated from NIE or have not even entered NIE. but we do have our stories regarding students to share. haha. will never forget the occassion "gossip sessions" about our students. i didnt really have much to say since my class were generally well behaved. ha. but i do have a few naughty ones. for example, i have this student in class and when i asked him to do comprehension, he ignored me and he slept in the class. despite waking him up a few times, he went back to sleep the moment i walk away from him. then, there is another student. mervin chan. my god. that is another headache. told him to take out a piece of paper and start to do his compre, he took out his book and place them on his lap, which was resting against the table and didnt do anything. gave up on him when he refused to listen to me after the 4th time. i gave up on these 2 boys because of 2 main reasons. (i) i dont know them well enough to know what is the best way to tackle them and (ii) i will not have the chance to have them in my class ever again, so i shall not be bothered with their incorrigibility (if this word ever existed. haha. :D). i didnt complain anything to my CT who is their form teacher the next day she return from MC. i didnt know why but i jsut thought i should give them a chance. and so, i kept my mouth shut when she ask if the class did misbehave. haiz. well.. white lies are told to prevent hurting others. hahaha. so yeah. i told a "white lie" by keeping quiet and shaking my head when she ask if they did misbehaved. haha.

tianhui and jayson ask if i would want to be posted back to montfort again. my answer to them was "yes and no." i tell u why i say so. yes because, of the class that i was talking about. 2E1. they taught me how a teacher can help (yes, they did even though i didnt really teach them. i only took them for relief once and for the rest of the time, i was sitting at the back observing them.) and how a teacher can impact another person's life and because, i like the benefit of waking up at 7 when i have to be in school at 7.30 and reaching home at 1.50 when i finish work at 1.30. haha. no because i dont think i like the work environment there.the work environment there isnt great. well.. shouldnt reveal too much here since it is not entirely safe that it will not be leaked out. =) ya, so i am actually having mixed feelings now as i imagine myself gg to the school again next july and this time round, for 5 weeks! btw, i WILL make it a point that i visit the staff lounge (or whatever they call it) this time round. haiz. so sad that i didnt get to go this time round because i didnt know it exisited until the walk. "scolded" jayson for not telling me. otherwise i could have gone there for tv or pool or some video games when i was so bored in the staff room! or better still. go there for the osim massage chair!! :( well. i believe i will have a chance.. haha.

the past week has been crazy. school in the morning and the many activities in the night make me really tired. i have got meetings and tuitions to attend and after that, when i reach home i have to do my ogl booklet (which by the way is finally done and printed out!) and from monday to thursday, i slept at 3am EVERYDAY. i was really doing the booklet and my reflection for my stay at montfort. men. i was really so tired. yesterday, i totally cannot take it anymore and i fell asleep in the staff room while slacking. ha. and even when i went for observation, i was really sleepy. i cannot help but keep yawning. and it really doesnt help when all my CT did was to go thru answers for comprehensions! ha. energy level really hit all time low men. by the afternoon after the walk, my energy level = 0. i totally conked out the moment i reach home. fell asleep at the sofa.haha. was so tired that i decided to not go and meet bl, ser and khai for lunch at city hall. anyway, i ended too late to join them also la. haha.

hmm. that is all that i have to blog for now. haha. till i blog again ba. haha. now it's bed time!! and i can hear my bed calling to me already. hahaha. =P

- that citadel and saboteur game that i am addicted to!!
- any 1 of the many many reflexes game i play in settlers! they are so fun!
- watch movies with darling FOC!!
- new clothes and shoes!
- a new leather watch!!
- lasik operation! to get rid of having to wear specs/contacts!
- a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
- a pair of birks?
