Just another story

was doing my 234 revision and i came across this interesting story that was used for our tutorial's analysis. wat a great use of SCE to make the story interesting! hope you will enjoy the story as much as i did! haha.

The Ant and the Grasshopper

Once upon a time, there lived an ant and a grasshopper. The Grasshopper did nothing but play. On the other hand, the ant was so hardworking, always looking for food to store in its nest.

Curious that his industrious friend worked so hard, the grasshopper asked, "Hey, Ant! You dun have to relax one ah? Always busy one. Come and play with me lah."

To which the ant replied, " I cant lah. I have to store all this food."

"Haiyah! Relax lah. Why you bother storing all this food? Hungry den go find lah." the grasshopper told the ant again.

"Eh, cannot lah. I have to standby for winter one. Den I no need to panic mah. I think you oso mus standby, you know," the ant told his friend.

"Where got fun? I go and play better. You want to store food you go ahead lah. I not so kia su one!" And the grasshopper hopped off to play.

The Ant was a hardworking guy... oops I mean insect. Not like the lazy grasshopper. And so, as the days, weeks, months went by, even though winter still had not come, the ant was still searching for food, and storing it in its nest. The grasshopper, on the other hand, continued to frolic and play.

The two friends happened to meet again. "Hey Ant! You still haven't finish storing food ah? Last time food all go where? So fast eat finish meh?" asked grasshopper.

"Very chia lat leh. I got keep food... but den all overdue liao. Cannot eat anymore. All because winter not here yet. So mus go and look for more food." sighed the ant.

"But ant ah... you dun mind i ask ah.. you got ever think or not... Singapore where got winter?" asked the grasshopper cheekily.

"AHHHH????!!!! Aiyah, I so stupeeed!" the ant was shocked!

So, the moral of this story is to remind all of us that whatever we all do, better think properly first ah. Dun anyhow hantam only! hahaha. :)

Good story right?! hahahaha. hope u all enjoyed the story. i think the story is v cute. haha.

- new clothes and shoes!
- a new leather watch!!
- lasik operation! to get rid of having to wear specs/contacts!
- a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
- a pair of birks?
