Just another story

wanted to blog this down yesterday but was too tired at the end of the day to really sit down and blog about it. hahaha.

anyway, got a piece of good news for everyone and that is, i passed my driving test! haha. i must thank God for i have gotten a very merciful tester! haha. i tell u why.

upon entering the circuit, the tester told me to do parallel parking. and so i did. while going in, i strike pole and that gives me a 10 demerit points. ha. and to adjust my car back properly, i need additional movement. which means another 2 more demerit points. then, i turned my steering wheel after parking the car. and that gives me another 2 more demerit points. so, at my first station in circuit, i have already chalked up 14 demerit points! haha. wanted to give up totally, but i later thought i may still stand a chance and so i did everything to the best i could. haha.

so, after the "intensive ticking" session, i moved on to the other stations. thankfully, with God's grace i very much believe, i manage to do everything without adding on more demerit points. just when i completed all stations and was about to exit circuit to head, the tester told me to do emergency brake. (i REALLY got a shock when he suddenly told me to stop.) i did as instructed and he said "good test!"

with 14 points down, i tried my very best to be as safe as possible and not commit any mistakes. haha. however, i think i did dragged my gear for 1/2 times but he didnt mark me down. (that is why i say i got a merciful tester). in fear that he didnt see me checking my blindspot, my actions were very exaggerated! haha. and he gave me 2 points for inproper technique of checking blindspot. then, did a few right turns and a u-turn, he told me to drive back to the test centre. after parking my car, i saw a familiar figure. haa. it was my dad.

anyway, so i went up to the familiar room. and he told me. "ok, BECAUSE of you striking the pole........." upon hearing this, i was so worried la! hahaa. cause i really is v scare i will fail again. haha. then later he said "but u are a safe driver and ur emergency brake saved u. how many times le ah?" i say "3rd try today" then he say "ok, this is a borderline case ah. because ur main mistake was striking the pole out of position, and that alone is 10 points, i will let you pass." wahahahaha. and so, i passed! hahaha. I am so thankful!! :D came out of the room jumping! hahha. cause i say bye bye to uncle bob's car, i say bye bye to parting with more money to learn how to drive, i say bye bye to L plate, i say bye bye to Ubi driving centre, i say bye bye to renewing PDL, Ubi account and queuing for test dates!! hahahaha. now i say hi to P-Plate. saw my dad outside the room and i dun have to say much. he knows the answer. hahaha.

headed to cchs to meet up with darling and off we go to celebrate! hahaha. had fish n co for dinner. darling treated me! hahaha. :) then, at night, borrowed car from my sis and i drove darling back home. is so scary! hahaha. my turning needs more practice sia. and my judgement. hahaha. it is indeed stressful to be behind the wheels! hahaha. =)

- new clothes and shoes!
- a new leather watch!!
- lasik operation! to get rid of having to wear specs/contacts!
- a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
- a pair of birks?
