Just another story

hello everyone! i am back from vietnam! the trip was fun, though i still preferred my Perth trip la. well, both trips got their own good and bad la. good thing about vietnam would be the shopping! haha. it was great fun shopping around with monkey and trying our best to cut the prices down down and down. we also had the opportunity to experience life like a tai-tai where we go everywhere in cabs and u know, just eat and shop and sleep. or slack our time away in a cafe- the cafe's real cool! got live band and the music they play really nice. haha. we also passed by this bakery which was really cool. they provide free wifi service and they also have a desktop there for the customers to use- free of charge and for as long as you want. hee.

the bad part about this trip would be the incessant traffic. the first sound that will greet u every morning would be the "beep-beep" from the traffic and the last sound you will hear before u sleep would also be the "beep beep" sound. there are zebra crossings and traffic lights drawn. and being the typical singaporean i am, i stood there with monkey and waited for a while. but we still didnt manage to cross the road. the locals were at the same starting point later than us, but when all of them crossed and walked out of our sight, we were still at the starting point. in the end, we decided to jus heck it and cross, the way the locals do. it was scary initially but after crossing countless big big roads (really is a big big road), we got more proficient and used to it. vehicles moved in all directions at the same time. they dont really follow the traffic lights- except when there are policemen around.

alright, that shall be it. haha. i know,i still have got 4 more days of my perth trip to go. i will finish them soon. promise! haha. and i wont give up. i must finish all! haha.

- portable harddisk that is PORTABLE with as much memory as possible
- that citadel and saboteur game that i am addicted to!!
- any 1 of the many many reflexes game i play in settlers! they are so fun!
- watch movies with darling FOC!!
- new clothes and shoes!
- a new leather watch!!
- lasik operation! to get rid of having to wear specs/contacts!
- a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
- a pair of birks?
