Just another story

wow! it has been a good one month since i last blogged! haha. lets see. things i have accomplished in this one month hiatus! ha.

first things first. exams has come and gone. well, i only have got this to say- i have done my best. the rest's not up to me to decide/interfere. i know some of my friends will tell me that i am always afraid of my results but it always turn out to be alright. but this time round, i really DUN have the confidence. it was really my worst sem in uni ever. perhaps deep down in me i know it's cause i no longer have got History to pull my grades up. and the eng modules this sem ain't exactly my forte. even the supposedly (easy to score) bilingual module wasn't that easy afterall. much less to mention about writing. anyway, enough of that.

since my exams ended super early this sem, i had the opportunity to rot a few days at home without any activities since all my close friends and darling were still having exams. my mj khakis weren't free to entertain me and neither are the HXians free to plan for KTVs/meals/gatherings. thus, i rotted close to a week at home, doing nothing except playing brainless games on the web and watching TVB drama serials. ha. though it was a little boring, i managed to relax. =D

i also went on a short trip to Batam with my parents over the weekend. it wasn't the kind of trip that i expected. maybe cause i was on a guided tour. i went to places where i would not have planned to go if i was on F&E. perhaps that explains why i didnt really enjoy the batam trip. not to mention the presence of not-so-likeable aunties and a witch who were travelling with me. and to think i have to face that irritating lady during meal times since she sat at my table. however, it wasn't entirely a flop trip considering the fact that i managed to play clown with my 2nd sis and my parents. the point i am trying to bring across is- it would have been a better trip if minus the guided visits to the not-so-interesting places and without the presence of not-so-likeable people.

going on another short trip in a few hours time to bintan with darling. it's our 2nd trip together and hopefully we will have a good time there! hee. =D this trip should be my last trip this year. hee. quite a fruitful year for me since i went on quite a number of getaways this year:

--genting/KL in jan;
--Perth in May;
--Vietnam in july;
--Batam in mid dec and
--Bintan in end dec.

not bad liao, considering the fact that i only had like 4 months of holidays. haha. i love overseas trips! more of them please!!!! haha. fly me to europe!!!!!! ;p

been shopping around for christmas gifts too. happy to say that i have already settled a number of gifts for my friends. haha. still in the midst of buying for some others. i love christmas. haha. cause of the decor and all the bumming around to look for gifts and surprising others with your little token of love! haha. =D

another activity of my short dec holidays was to work. work as a high class "waitress" for 2 days(paying me 10 per hour!!) and as an invigilator for 4 days. all these 6 days of work help increase my bank balance by about 300 bucks. not bad right?! haha. more of such jobs please. tuition has also started over at woodlands. only one class for the time being. expecting 1/2 more classes. =D

alright, i shall go sleep now. haha. i shall post pics of my batam (and also bintan) trip when i get back next week! =D

- ~~a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school~~
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
