Just another story

the new year has kicked in 11 days ago. school has also started for me. sadly enough, i am still in the process of "adjusting" my body clock to "tune" it back to school day mode! as a result of my constant late nights during the hols, i am having difficulty falling asleep early! i end up tossing and turning in bed if i decided to sleep earl(ier)! this is so sad! =(

but anyway, thanks be to God for the relatively "slack" timetable that i have gotten this sem! i have got a 4 days week and out of my 4 days, i only have got a day with morning 830am lesson!
the AS modules chosen for this sem are pragmatics and history of modern linguistics. i think they are ok modules and i should be able to score, if i study hard enough that it. haha. lets pray and hope for the best ba! best thing of all- both mods have got exam which are open book! =D

as for my CSes, erm, i dont exactly have much comment for either of them. ach 322's workload's rather heavy with 2 group presentations (1 lesson package), 1 individual lesson package and 1 reflection, with the first group presentation scheduled to be next week! :(

darling's and dad's birthdays coming up real soon. i am still clueless as to where to go for celebration! help pls! :(

i miss PLS. i am so looking forward to listening to her share her experience with me!!! hahaha. so i am really glad that PLS's coming back real soon! oh man, that also means that i wont have the luxury of having the whole room to myself and having 2 study tables at my disposal. well, it's time for spring cleaning again! i need to clear the space on my own table to place my lappie! but i just want her to be back soon. it can be quite boring to be sleeping alone. haha.

new year's also round the corner! this has got to be the only occasion which will get my entire family's "attention"! hahaha.

i am looking forward to the steamboat session with my sisters and parents!
i am looking forward to getting myself busy in buying the new year goodies and storing them into the "new-year-then-take-out-and-use" containers!
i am looking forward to putting up the decorations at home.
i am looking forward to indulging myself in the yummy food! *think ba kwa, pineapple tarts, prawn rolls, pistachio nuts, gua zi, love letters, mandarin oranges and so much more...* haha.
i am looking forward to dressing up!
i am looking forward to the angbaos!
i am looking forward to the "hustling and bustling" around for the house to house visitations!
i am looking forward to "feel" and "indulge" myself in the celebratory mood!
i am looking forward to yet another round of gatherings and meet ups with my relatives (ok, i admit, not ALL of them though! ha.) and
i am looking forward to playing with my cousins, nieces and nephews!!!! hahaha.
oh gosh! my mind has already fast forwarded to the month of feb!! i cant wait cant wait cant wait! CNY, come quick!! hahaha.

however, how can things be one sided?! haha. and therefore, i have also got a list of things that i am NOT looking forward to! sigh.
i am not looking forward to the dusty and tiring spring cleaning chores.
i am not looking forward to doing the (many) elearning tasks which falls in the CNY week! =(

enough of my nonsensical ramblings. ha. it's getting late. i shall head off to lala land!

- watch movies with darling FOC!!
- new clothes and shoes!
- a new leather watch!!
- lasik operation! to get rid of having to wear specs/contacts!
- a small sling bag for gai gai and a bag big enough for school
- a shopping spree in HK or Thailand!!
- a pair of birks?
